About Tracy
As an adult Tracy began her college education studying both Interior Design and Elementary Education. She graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education, and pursued a career in Education. She taught Elementary school for seven years; teaching in San Diego, California and Vancouver, Washington. In 2001, Tracy moved on from teaching to spend more time with her family, as well as expand her jewelry business, which she began in 2000. She operated a home-party based jewelry business for five years, designing and making jewelry, as well as importing unique pieces from around the world. After completing an advanced Interior Design program, Tracy decided to finally pursue more seriously what she already knew was her path in life. It only makes sense that, after years of encouragement from friends and family whose homes I have helped decorate, I would eventually turn my passion, training, and experience into a career.” In 2006 Tracy began her independent design studio, Inspired Interiors in Camas, WA. Tracy resides in Camas with Chris, her husband of fifteen years, her eleven year old son Jordan, and her Shih Tzu “Zoe.” Family means the world to her and together they enjoy skiing/snowboarding, boating, spending time outdoors in the beautiful Northwest, entertaining friends and family, traveling, and of course…relaxing at home. Tracy’s taste and experience have progressed from shoebox models and lavender bedroom sets to creating refined, comfortable, and sophisticated spaces. She enjoys all styles of design and looks for design inspiration everywhere. “Look around and you’re sure to see beauty and inspiration,” she has said. My goal is to formulate a design plan that meets your expectations of style and comfort. “Having the ability to turn what a client says, feels, and wants into a beautiful, functional, three dimensional environment is the essence of Interior Design.” Random Personal Facts:
